This is a blank note card reproduction of "Thorn in the Grass" - an original mixed-media photo and encaustic artwork I made in 2016. Imagery is a combination of multiple film photographic images that I have combined together, scanned, and "painted" digitally to make it more ethereal and otherworldly. This piece is a combination of 4 different film images and is part of a series of 4 artworks that explore the allegory of the Garden of Eden, each with thorns as a crucial part of the imagery. The other 3 pieces in the series can be seen in the 3rd image (note, this listing is for a single card, not 4).
