Been busy the last 2 months getting ready for a featured show at the Columbia City Gallery. Opening night will be Saturday, Feb 28, from 5-8 pm. The theme is "Multiple Facets," so I've decided to make mixed media pieces rather than my typical framed photographs. The media will be photographs mounted to wood panels (hand built), with encaustic. Several of the works will be on multiple panels comprising a single piece, while the actual imagery is comprised of multiple layers of film. It's a big departure from my past work, and I've been super excited working on it and in the hand-building process. Here are some process images to whet your appetite.
